Here’s what you get when you sign up for the Inclusion Cohort

  • 6 sessions that build progressively on each other to prepare you, your leadership and your church to talk about LGBTQ inclusion
  • 5 downloadable, shareable leadership tools that simplify the process of guiding your community through tricky conversations
  • Weekly examples and discussion of best practices and common pitfalls
  • Guided reflection and interaction with a diverse set of leaders wrestling with the same issues
Is the Inclusion Cohort right for you?

It might be if you:

  • hold any position of influence in your church or nonprofit and you want to explore how your community could enter into conversation about LGBTQ inclusion well
  • want your community to discern its own way forward without having a foregone conclusion (either affirming or not) decided at the outset
  • want to move beyond battles over the ‘clobber passages’ and talk in practical ways about next steps towards better treatment of LGBTQ persons
  • need guidance on a roadmap that will honor the diversity of perspectives in your community

Inclusion Cohort Details

Cohorts start in October and will finish before Thanksgiving.

The six weekly sessions run 75 minutes long, and there’s about 30 minutes of homework beforehand.

Cohorts run 4-10 people. It often works best to bring another leader to learn/debrief together.

Cost is $600/person, and there are scholarships available (just ask). Teams of 3 or more get a 15% discount.
